Where can i get free GPS maps?
I have a Maylong FD-220, the GPS unit from the gps for dummies kit but the maps they have are useless. where can i get good free maps for the US? specifically Indiana?
maps have to be paid for, there is no way around it. go to the web site where you purchased the gps and see what the company is charging for the map upgrades. generally map upgrades cost anywhere from $60 to $110. depending on the company you are with. next time but your gps with a company that does not charge for maps. maps generally cost more than the gps (grin)
