Can the Garmin Legend HCx display be changed?
The Garmin Legend HCx shows to be in color. Color displays are so hard to see outdoors. Is there a setting on this model GPS that allows for high contrast or better yet black and white display. A type of display that shows up well when viewed outside in bright sunlight,

you can choose one of 10 color schemes day and night. If a night scheme looks better in daylight, you can choose “night only”.
Otherwise get a monochome only Garmin. They use less power and have much better contrast than a color display (although less detail).
